Rik Emmett began as one/third of the hard rock trio called Triumph, which has since been inducted into the Canadian Rock Hall of Fame.  His personal triumphs include a solo career and several prestigious awards, including Best Lead Guitarist nationally in 1981. In 2005 Rik was honored as Jazz Guitarist of the Year at the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards.
CFXU is honoured to have Rik in the booth THIS THURSDAY.  Joanna Bisson will be interviewing him during “The Jaguar’s Den” at 2:00pm on Canada Day.
